Bigod Care was established in 1994 offering home care and support services to people in Bungay and the surrounding area. We provide a high service for people who wish to remain within their own homes whilst maintaining independence.

What we offer

  • We can offer you help & support with Personal Care, Meal Preparation, Cleaning, Laundry, Shopping, Companionship or any other daily living tasks.
  • Our staff will deliver this Service in a sensitive and flexible manner whilst ensuring your privacy, dignity and choices are maintained and encouraged.
  • We are registered with The Care Quality Commission to provide personal care to people in their own homes.

Our Aims and Objectives

We aim to provide the highest quality of care and to preserve the quality of life of people who use the service.

Therefore:

  • We will carry out assessments of need that will be used to develop individual care plans with the objective of meeting the aims and objectives of each person.
  • We will provide equipment and competent staff to enable the aims and objectives to become a reality for each person.
  • We will deliver care sensitively and flexibly which reflects’ individual needs and choices of each person.
  • We will respect and retain privacy, dignity and independence, as far as possible, irrespective of the person's physical or mental infirmity.
  • We will consult as fully as possible, with people, relatives and other involved persons in order to ensure that the stated aims and objectives are maintained.
  • We will ensure staff are trained to provide care and support to ensure the best quality of life for the people using our service.

Our philosophy

Our philosophy is based upon a belief that all the people who use our service have the right to be treated as individuals. This will be monitored at regular intervals, in full consultation with all people, relatives, staff and relevant professionals.

The specialist needs of clients will be met by our staff that are knowledgeable and sensitive to their needs, whilst maintaining their dignity and quality of life.
